Sometimes I forget that happiness is within my grasp.

This was created on a large piece of hessian, the threads were mainly wool.  The beads came from a very dubious beaded waistcoat I used to wear in the '90's.  As you can see I know about 4 embroidery stitches, including my favourite chain stitch, french knots and the spiderweb one.  I like her toes the best!

My head - a place I don't get to often enough!

This is the first piece I created on the theme of rivers.  I have a limited knowledge of embroidery stitches, but you will see chain stitch and even a few french knots. The beads come from a very unfashionable waistcoat I owned in the '80's.
